    Indonesia’s geographical conditions, particularly in the eastern region, which is archipelago has its own challenges in the distribution of commodities, such as rice. Most of the rice needed in eastern Indonesia, is still supplied from Java Island. The most suitable transportation mode for rice distribution in the eastern region of Indonesia, is by sea (ships). In this study, a ship routing and scheduling model for commodity distribution in the eastern region of Indonesia was developed, using capacitated vehicle routing problem (CVRP) method. The model was built by considering the number of demands on the destination, ship capacity, and ports service time. Modeling was developed to determine distribution route and schedule that can provide total minimum cost and meet all of the restrictions

    Tujuan Studi: Untuk mengetahui hubungan jenis kelamin terhadap kejadian DHF pada anak di TK Ra-Al Kamal 4 di Wilayah Bukuan Kota Samarinda. Metodologi: Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan disain penelitian retrospektif. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik total sampling dan melibatkan 82 responden. Uji fisher’s exact digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan jenis kelamin dan kejadian DHF pada anak di TK  Al- Kamal 4 di wilayah Bukuan Kota Samarinda. Hasil: Dari hasil uji analisis menunjukan nilai sign 0,648>0,05 bermakna bahwa tidak ada hubungan  antara jenis kelamin terhadap kejadian DHF pada anak di TK Ra-Al Kamal 4 di Wilayah Bukuan Kota Samarinda. Manfaat: Manfaat pada penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menyumbang referensi teoritis dalam bidang keperawatan khususnya keperawatan anak

    Lot sizing problem in production planning aims to optimize production costs (processing, setup and holding cost) by fulfilling demand and resources capacity costraint. The Capacitated Lot sizing Problem (CLSP) model aims to balance the setup costs and inventory costs to obtain optimal total costs. The object of this study was a plastic component manufacturing company. This study use CLSP model, considering process costs, holding costs and setup costs, by calculating product cycle and setup time. The constraint of this model is the production time capacity and the storage capacity of the finished product. CLSP can reduce the total production cost by 4.05% and can reduce setup time by 46.75%.  Keyword: Lot size, CLSP, Total production cost

    The current COVID-19 pandemic has created new environmental problems. The increase of medical waste due to increased activity in public health facilities is a new threat to environmental health. Unfortunately, not all health facilities have the capacity to manage their own waste. This causes the medical waste need to be taken to a waste treatment center for proper treatment that meets environmental health standards. Reverse logistics is one of the activities that can help the process of transporting medical waste. This study uses a vehicle routing problem with a time window (VRPTW) for multi depot cases. The limitations used in this study are the operational time of each Puskesmas, vehicle capacity and operational working hours of waste transport officers. In this case, the optimization of the cost calculation for the transportation of waste from 42 health centers in the DKI Jakarta area is carried out to be taken to three central locations for waste treatment. The purpose of the model used is to minimize transportation costs, namely fixed costs and variable costs of the vehicle used. The routes generated from this research are six transportation routes with a total distance of 412,31 km, with a total cost of Rp 5.928.498,75

    This research uses the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method to measure the blowing machine effectiveness at the plastic bottle manufacturing plant. This paper investigates losses that gave the biggest impact on machine effectiveness value. Afterwards analytical methods are used in this paper, using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Logic Tree Analysis (LTA). Both methods identify as many causes as the failure that can decrease machine effectiveness. OEE value was influenced by low-performance efficiency. Failure that most affect the effectiveness of the machine is shown by factors with the value of Risk Priority Number (RPN) above the critical value

    Pengembangan Model EPQ dengan Variasi Biaya Setup dan Biaya Penyimpanan serta Pengiriman Diskrit

    Makalah ini mengkaji kebijakan inventori pada perusahaan yang memiliki kapasitas gudang terbatas sehingga pengiriman barang harus dilakukan secara diskrit serta mempertimbangkan variasi biaya setup yang meningkat berdasarkan lama waktu produksi dan biaya penyimpanan yang meningkat sesuai fungsi waktu penyimpanan. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengembangkan model Economic Production Quantity (EPQ) dan meminimasi total biaya inventori dengan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor yang telah disebutkan sebelumnya. Terdapat dua kasus yang dikaji yaitu variasi biaya setup yang dikombinasikan dengan variasi biaya penyimpanan (H). Metode optimasi digunakan untuk mendapatkan waktu siklus (T) optimal. Berdasarkan T optimal yang dihasilkan, dihitung nilai waktu produksi (Tp), jumlah produksi (Q), jumlah pengiriman (m), kapasitas pengiriman (k), dan total biaya optimal. Perhitungan numerik menunjukkan bahwa 2 model yang dihasilkan dapat menurunkan total biaya secara keseluruhan. Penurunan nilai TC* terbesar dicapai pada saat β=1 dan ε=0,4 yaitu sebesar 3.967(0,1983.967 (0,198%) untuk model 1 sedangkan untuk model 2, diperoleh pada saat β=1 yaitu sebesar 2.607 (0,130%).

    Integrated agent-based microsimulation framework for examining impacts of mobility-oriented policies

    © 2020, Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature. Travel demand management measures/policies are important to sustain positive changes among individuals’ travel behaviour. An integrated agent-based microsimulation platform provides a rich framework for examining such interventions to assess their impacts using indicators about demand as well as supply side. This paper presents an approach where individual schedules, derived from a lighter version of an activity-based model, are fed into a Multi-Agent Transport Simulation (MATSIM) framework. Simulations are performed for two European cities i.e. Hasselt (Belgium) and Bologna (Italy). After calibrating the modelling framework against aggregate traffic counts for the base case, the impacts of a few traffic management policies (restricting car access, increase in bus frequency) are examined. The results indicate that restricting car access is more effective in terms of reducing traffic from the network and also shifting car drivers/passengers to other modes of travel. The enhancement of bus infrastructure in relation to increase in frequency caused shifting of bicyclist towards public transport, which is an undesirable result of the policy if the objective is to improve sustainability and environment. In future research, the framework will be enhanced to integrate emission and air dispersion models to ascertain effects on air quality as a result of such interventions
